Passive Ability
These base units, also referred to as Rank-0 units, cannot be named or re-statted and only have a passive ability.
Unranked units are recruited at the Mead House.
Units and Promotion[ | ]
When you first arrive in Strand, you start off with five units:
one Raider, two Archers, one Shieldbanger, one Warrior
and one promoted unit, a Thrasher. As you fight you earn Renown,
which can be used to upgrade heroes and recruit more of them.
Units you recruit cost Renown to upgrade. When you upgrade any unit for its first time, you choose a subclass for them that grants a special ability.
Leveling up also allows you to re-assign stat points. Details for that aren't here at the moment, but suffice it to say re-statting adds uniqueness to units.
